Hi-ya

Post by bombnut on Mon Apr 15, 2013 2:57 pm

Hello,
I'm new to the act of reloading, but I have been dreaming about it for years, My girfriend bought me a Horandy LnL progressive for christmas, and after two months of waiting for dies shell plates, primers, bullets...oh and powder. I made a bullet. 600 actually. I started with .45 cause its a big ol' lugnut that my man hands were able to work with. Next up will be either .223 or .30 carbine depending on what powder I find first.
I'm figureing it all out bit by bit. I had a friend come help with the first rounds, and I have given a few to the guys in the shop to bust the caps on and see what they think.
Its a while away, but one day I would love to sell a bullet. ( a long, long ...lloooong while away)( or maybe not)

Other than that, I ride motorcycles, and I'm retirering from 23 years in the Army come this Movember.

Welcome to ATG! Smile

Kudos on your retirement and thanks for hanging in there that long for the rest of us.

One of my little brother is retiring from the Army here in a few months too. ..almost the exact same time served too.

With the screen name bombnut...I have to ask, EOD?

Same as my brother that will be retiring Smile

It seems they really like to keep the good bombtechs deployed...My brother has been deployed more than he has been in the states since all that crap started over there in the sand box :/

Heck, you might even have worked together at some point....
