Replacement stock for s&w 1500 rifle
I have a s&w rifle modl1500 in 30-06 , I would like to put on a synthetic stock on it, what other more common brands of rifles are identical to it ,? Dimension wise so it would fit my 1500?

While this might not work since it is a short action, it also states Howa and Weatherby Vanguard.

The SW 1500 is the same gun as the Howa 1500 and Weatherby vanguard so the stock above will fit.

Not to throw you a curve ball, S&W also had a model 1500 that was built by Husqvarna and imported by S&W back in 68 to 72 I think it was, actually that may be the years the Mauser model 2000, 3000 and 4000 were made.
I have heard but not personally saw, some of the Husqvarna rifles were marked S&W 1500, all that I have personally looked at were marked with Husqvarna on the barrel.
